Semiloore Dare-Atunse

In a university parliament ruled by ego and unspoken power, Edidiong Kamla-Akpio doesn’t wait to be chosen; she forces her way in, determined to claim a space that was never meant for her. But power isn’t the only thing at stake. When her fiercest rival, Jumade, becomes the one person who sees her, believes in her, and chooses her, everything begins to shift. As ambition tangles with something deeper and far more dangerous, Edidiong is forced to confront what it truly means to win. For her, this isn’t just about a seat. It’s about survival, sacrifice, and rewriting the rules in a world that resists change. And Edidiong isn’t just here to take her place; she’s here to make sure no one ever forgets who she is. This Seat is Taken by Semiloore Dare-Atunse is a gripping story of ambition and defiance.
